Nintendo cut costs and the model 1 1-chip-03 doesnt output rgb. The C-SYNC line is not connected.

stupidly and good for us, they left all of the other rgb parts there - the rgb lines are already connected and resistors are there.

All you have to do is Reconnect Pin 7 on the S-RGB-A chip, to the C-sync pin on the multi-out connector. It is literally a 1-wire mod.

btw this board appears to be the same as the Sns-cpu-1chip-01 except its missing a few resistors and caps that the 01 has.

i dont know if im the first person to realize this but i am the first i know of to get this working.

happy modding.

ive got an update to this. Ive done some tracing and i believe all you have to do is bridge the gap on R9 to enable c-sync on the 03.

I am going to take a look soon to see what exactly is on R9, on a 1-chip-01. whatever value that is (should be zero ohm) just needs to be put in the spot for r9 and it makes this a no-wire-no-brainer, factory looking mod.

R9 is actually a 18Z, 150Ohm resistor on sync. why would they do that when it seems to work just fine without it?

Up until now ive been jumping it right off the s-rgb to the multi-out.
