Need a couple NES-001 NTSC cap values Empty
PostSubject: Need a couple NES-001 NTSC cap values   Need a couple NES-001 NTSC cap values EmptySun Oct 27, 2013 9:51 pm

So, I was waiting for parts to re-cap an NES-001 (and boy did it need it, two leaky caps including that massive 2200uf can) when the laptop I have my notes on went and took a dump. Head crash on the internal HD. So while that takes the next week to clone and maybe restore the partition, I was hoping someone would be kind enough to tell me the values for C5 and C24? They're both on the little AV board.

Please and thank you!

Nono, that's NES-101. I'm working on a front-loading toaster.

Yeah, C24 and C5. They're on either side of that giant can that sticks out through the top. I've got the values for that and for C21 already.

Only rf box I still have is soldered into a pcb. All of my other systems I ditched the rf boxes since I've been upgrading them to rgb for years.

console5.com sells complete cap kits for lots of systems including the nes. They are inexpensive and really do make it easy to recap your system.
