 Snes overvoltage?

i have an snes thats outputting 6.7v on the voltage regulator output. is it safe to say that regulator is no good?

Ive had consoles that didnt work before because of regulator issues but they all had an undervoltage problem.

On this console i get sound but its giving me a white screen.
