the 3d printed multi-outs are really nice i wouldnt do it any other way now. It adds to the cost a bit but its worth it instead of all the cutting you have to do otherwise to get a multi-out installed.

I observed something though. the nintendo-repaired rf toploaders have a replacement motherboard that shifts the ppu way to the left. im almost sure its shifted enough to install a nesrgb without the adapter. there were quite a few made they have a blue sticker on the bottom.

I just missed buying one on ebay. they are something to look out for though.

Ive also noticed that my toploader never need the extra voltage regulator and run cool.

both frontloaders ive left on for a while heats up too much for my liking so ive been putting the regulator in.

Yeah the toaster heat sink is tiny. All the other models have a nice big heat sink so they should be fine running on just the one regulator.

I have an update to this. I did some testing on a toaster after installing a 1.5 amp regulator like some people have been suggesting. I left it on for about 2 days and i wanted to see if it would break it. It was still running cool enough to touch. I no longer install the second voltage regulator. Its not nessecary.

Truthfully I forgot they come with a second regulator. I've always used just the stock regulator, no swapping and no second regulator and all worked just fine.
