I wired up a cxa2075 circuit which greatly reduces jailbars in s-video. Unfortunately this method doesn't completely remove jailbars but it looks much better than the s-video generated by the default encoder.
I really wish I knew what causes these jailbars.

I ran some captured footage through some filters and holy hell it looks good!
