| Since the only thing these pictures demonstrate is the custom labels, did you make the labels yourself? They're pretty awesome. I get custom cart commissions and I could use help with making labels (as in part of my commission money goes to printing labels). If you have the necessary hardware and want to be a part of my business just let me know. I think modders work best when they work as a team. | |

| The Goonies label and the Armed Dragon Quest labels are my own creation, the splatterhouse and earthbound were from labels other have shared with me. I could post pics of the actual mod next time I make these games again. I use the bent pin method. I know I probably should cut the traces instead, but I found my way to be a little faster. | |

The bent pin method is better it's less destructive to the cart pcb. I worked in the past with a guy who snapped pins right off and then later we found out those pins were necessary.... Have you tested these carts in official systems? I know a lot of clones work with carts that aren't wired properly. I like your labels, how much would you charge me to print, cut, and mail a label to me? Also are your labels nice and shiney with laminated paper?

If you are using OTP chips or even UV chips, if you don't plan on reusing the chips, then you can snap some of them like the pin 1 and 31 on certain 27c series chips. Anymore than that you are in pretty deep trouble. If you look back at the first wii revisions, they clipped off the IC legs needed to solder onto, then people started to grind down the chip until more metal was exposed and was able to make the chip viable again. - Quote :

All my games so far work in the NES 100 systems. I don't believe in clones, so I haven't been able to test those types of systems and I don't have my top loader yet, but I assume it should work. - Quote :

You could have a label for free, they arn't too hard to make. I print the label on adhesive paper and apply a protective glossy layer. Its shiny, but not too shiny. I know some people use extra wide tape, but that doesn't seem right. I am looking into buying a roll of pressure sensative cold laminate 1.5 mil glossy film. The only thing stopping me now is I don't want to spend $100 on it and have it be different that what I need.
