| Unlike bacteria I'm not going to cry and complain when someone posts a link to another forum. In fact I SUPPORT it as I realize it's a royal pain to copy and paste your work everywhere. And of course more exposure to your work is always better. Also unlike bacteria I'm not going to award you a stupid star to make you feel important so you don't leave.
Also....I won't give you any opinions until you post something about it like details and pictures.

| Yeah a lot of forums people get really mad if you post in other forums they treat you like you're cheating on your girlfriend or something. I think a forum should be a place you can go to just to unwind and relax. At first I thought it was kind of cool that bacteria had a star system so people would know who's a good person to go to for advice. However after so much time I realized that his little star awarding and saying positive things to everyone system was simply meant to keep people from leaving his forum and going elsewhere. So I created this place a more CASUAL forum where I don't make silly rules like "no posting links to other forums because we want to be the only forum in the world". Unlike other forums I don't care if someone posts elsewhere in fact I encourage it and it feels a little odd to me if my forum is the only place that someone posts. Anyway.....back on topic....nice to have you here Looking forward to seeing your progress whenever you find the time to post it. | |

no that wouldn't bug me. The only thing I get annoyed with is people who just want free schematics all the time or people who clearly havn't done any research before posting an idea or an opinion. Or making one word posts or posts that don't really contain much detail about anything. It's nice to show that you actually well read someones posts before making a response otherwise it looks like people are just posting for the sake of increasing their post count or trying to please the person you're responding to. My forum is about people who take modding seriously not people who just want to increase their post count. So I think it makes sense to be able to post all updates no matter how small they're all just as important. And also I support you posting your work INCLUDING rom images which many forums are afraid of (including the romhacking.net message board...)

Take as much time as you like you're allowed to have a life. I've been doing a lot lately but havn't been posting updates. I guess it's because I've already made a name for myself so I don't have to post progress and results things as much anymore. And taking the time to take pics and videos just takes away from working on stuff. Text updates are fine too.

| well the people on modretro were chewing me for not having a battery protection circuit. one of them pm'd me and said theyve used the batteries ive got and they said that i really needed a battery protection circuit on them. so after spending like 15 bucks on one i wired it up and for some strange reason it wasnt charging... so i took apart my battery pack and what do i find? a freaking BUILT IN BATTERY PROTECTION CIRCUIT! yea so i pm'd the guy back and it turns out he is one of the most full of sh1t guys ive ever met. so now i have to use a whole new set of batteries because i ruined my last set taking them apart (but hey i got some nice free circuit protectors)
now im just thoroughly pisst off. even ask bac how much trouble i had with the circuit protector. a LOT OF TROUBLE. very aggrivating.

The other thing I get a lot of is people who don't know what they're selling. I purchased a cps2 phoenixed b board of x-men vs street fighter. The board showed up, the case had the x-men vs street fighter label and the board was x-men children of the atom a completely different game....is it really that hard to plug something in and make sure it's the right one before mailing it out? I seriously think a lot of dealers actually lack the hardware to test what they're selling which is pretty retarded.

Don't we all "wander". A digital camera usually stores the captured image in a raw uncompressed bitmap. So after you take the picture off of the camera memory stick a piece of software is meant to resize and compress the picture for you. Obviously you didn't resize and compress these images and you just uploaded them in their raw format.

| The average computer screensize is 1280 x 1024. So if you resize something to 2000 x 1500 that's much larger than the amount of pixels being displayed on your computer screen. You can always check the resolution of your screen. Or if you use microsoft paint like me using the resize option shows you the actual size of the image after you resize it. | |

shouldn't it just be a matter of following the traces and probing between the solder points?
