console mods creations

ive just been doing a little boredom work lately and this is what ive come up with (nothing to impressive, all done within like 2 min. each)




and last but not least my favorite

Was wondering if you'd ever post these. My suggestion would be to put in more than 2 minutes worth of effort all the best things take time and can continually be improved on. I've had my street fighter arcade hack in the "finished projects" seciton for ages now yet I'm still improving on it because I keep discovered ways to make it better. Even the current logo I have I took my time to find something that doesn't look too terrible (although it could be better).

I'm actually mostly proud of my "administrator" and "moderator" graphics making images with transparent parts was quite annoying.

hah yeah they do look pretty sweet! heres that one with the classics you asked for. its not the best and ill probably make another one thats better. Maybe.

Yeah I still prefer what I have right now over that one.

ooooohhhh yeah that one sucked for sure! i was in a pretty tired state last night though

Uhh, I dunno, do I need pictures of actual consoles in the logo? Actually I think pictures from classic games would make more sense since the whole reason I do these mods is for experiencing awesome classic games in the best possible quality.

Thanks for feedback. Yeah maybe some classic characters and in-game screens with focus on nice graphics would make it more related. I'll see what I can do...

PM? What is this a covert operation? I'm not going to go through all the trouble of telling you every character I'm interested in. Honestly if I wanted to make a new logo I'd just do it myself. I never asked for people to make me a new logo but if you really want to I suggest you read my threads well enough so you can probably guess what characters I like.

Well heres the new and the old one...
Street Fighter background+characters, Sonic and Megaman characters...

Okay that wins I'm using it

I mean come on it's got a hadouken in the first "o" and sonic coming out of the third "o". I love the background looks like final fight. Even megaman found his way in there. And it's not trying to pack too many games into one picture which is a big mistake a lot of custom logos have.

Prodigy I can't thank you enough for this logo everytime I load this forum it looks so good now.

Personally I prefer the second one as it's "console mods" not gaming characters, also looks a pretty cool and appropriate picture. My 2 cents!

The whole reason why I mod consoles is to experience my favourite games the way they should have been experienced. Then again my modding has gone beyond consoles I've now modded some arcade stuff but I do mostly console related work. Anyway when I look at a logo with pictures of consoles I don't get excited they're just boring consoles. But when I see a picture with lots of great game characters I remember all the great games that motivate me to modify these systems. There's plenty of consoles out there I've never bothered modding, just because they don't have any really great games that make it worth the effort.

If you suggest a forum logo should be based on the forum name then here's your new logo!
