Overclocking your glob top starfox cartridge H2ezEin

Either the surface mount version of the mario chip is different from the glob top version.....or robivy64 is full of sh#t. Robivy64 posted that his mario chip was really hot at 25 mhz and it would freeze / overheat around 27 mhz. This cart runs happily at 45 mhz. I let the intro loop a few times it didn't have any trouble at that speed. The glob top mario chip didn't even get warm. Maybe I need to playtest this thing for hours to notice any issues?

try letting it run overnight and then play it when you wake up. see if it glitches or freezes up.

thats usually how i test my snes decks before i sell them. if they are going to fail they will fail then before i send one out the door.
