Great individual video game songs

Great song indeed, there are some sections in particular around 1-1:30 which are very awesome.
I love Raiden 2's soundtrack, this is one of my favorites though.


Also, this (one of my favorite credits songs of all time):

Raiden 2 dx is one of the pcbs I actually had in my posession for a while. A nerd friend "borrowed" the pcb from an arcade and I think his supergun wasn't working so he lent the pcb to me. Here's my personal favourite song from the game



I don't remember the pcb sounding like this though....maybe raiden dx is different or maybe this guy recorded the song from one of the ports.

Ah yes Raiden DX, That is my favourite raiden in the series, I remember having the PCB at one point, not sure if I still have it now though. Yeah that is another excellent song from the soundtrack, I think that's a port, the arcade music sounds superior to that.

Not bad...can't say I'm bit on rotary games though.

Fair enough, they are not everyone's cup of tea. I in particular appreciate Midnight Resistance and Heavy Barrel, they are standout rotary games in my opinion.

Quite a good song, I myself prefer final take off from the soundtrack. I love SST's performance of it too, amazing.

I love Data East, they made incredible games with amazing soundtracks. This is my favourite song from Heavy Barrel:

Yeah I'm not familiar with the entire soundtrack of afterburner because I don't get very far before I run out of lives. I'm pretty sure the 32x version has a soundtest mode so I'll give that a whirl.

Im very into C64 SID music. I grew up with C64 and in my opinion it has the best 8-bit sound...

I like his mask too that's very mousehead. I mean the c64 is only used for the basic sample and all his gear makes it sound a lot cooler and mixes it in with some drums and other samples from goodnes knows what. But it's still entertaining to watch and listen to!

Awesome soundtrack overall, but this is one of the best track's imo.

Yeah this isn't bad at all.
