Thanks it was a find years ago at a flea market of old stuff. It's actually a restaurant sign I got it for I think 20$ and I bought replacement bulbs and startes for it from ebay.

Finished the low pass filter to make the get the audio levels how I like:
I fully understand if people prefer the default audio. I much prefer the low pass filtered audio.

Well the sound is much clearer without the filter. I vote for the default audio. Great stuff anyway

Yeah the other option was to look into a bass boost. What I did was I just filtered the treble down so the bass stands out more it only required 2 resistors and 1 capacitor each on both audio lines (left and right). I have a feeling if I wanted to build a bass boost circuit it would be way more complicated.
