This is a more advanced conversion. I converted my spare street fighter 2 champion edition arcade board into knights of the round. I also converted this pcb into captain commando but I didn't find that game very fun it's clearly designed just to suck quarters out of people's wallets. Knights of the round turned out to be a very fun game which is why I'll keep the pcb as knights of the round. I won't go into details I'll just list some basic stuff that's needed.
1: The right pcb type. This particular game uses the same rom board and c board type as street fighter 2 champion edition. The only difference is sf2 ce uses an encryption free c board so I needed to use the decrypted roms to get this going.
2: The right game roms / pal images for burning. I found the decrypted game programming roms on the dead battery society website. The graphics roms came from the japanese mame set, the other graphics dump didn't work with the decrypted roms. The pal data can be found on the pld archive. Some pals are also contained in the mame dump and can be converted with jedutil into a format that your programmer can use.
3: Eprom burner with 16 bit adapter and the ability to program gal16v8 chips so you can make your own game roms and pal chips.
4: A bunch of the right type of eproms and programmable gal16v8 chips so you can reprogram the board and the pal chips.
If you're missing any of the above, you won't be able to do this.
