AV Famicom - RGB Empty
PostSubject: AV Famicom - RGB   AV Famicom - RGB EmptyTue Feb 28, 2012 5:52 pm

I recently received the RGB PPU kit from the japanese site and started building this mod last night. I soldered all the electronics together, removed PPU, fitted a socket, etc... I'm pretty much all done. All I need to do now is actually hook it up to the AV multi out. Well the instructions leave a bit too much to the imagination. My intent is to plug this into an XRGB-3. Easily I can hook up the three RGB signals, but I also need a sync signal for it to work. I'm told I can also use Composite Video for that but that's apparently not the greatest. On step 19, in the instructions, is a photo of the underside of the Famicom where the AV pins are. Looks like all the instructions are there, I'm just not completely sure what I need to do. I think I need to cut traces, but I thought I'd get a second opinion before I do this.

Thanks in advance
Nic

I'm too lazy to explain the instructions for free that's a bit too much effort. Good luck thumbs up
